Ian’s varied career in Professional Services gives him a broad business understanding that he combines with his passion for coaching to help senior executives improve their thinking and execution in their businesses and careers.

COACHING FOCUS

Ian is an NLP Practitioner. He is a member of The International Coach Federation (ICF). Ian is accredited to use personality profiles NEO PI-R, The Hogan suite of tools, MBTI and Tracom Social Styles. He is also qualified to BPS Levels 1 & 2 in the use of psychometric and psychological testing.

His coaching focus includes:

EXPERIENCE

Ian spent 27 years in Professional Services, including ten as a partner at EY, Andersen and Grant Thornton. He worked in corporate transactions including both restructuring and M&A. At EY Ian led the internal coaching team and set up the coaching centre in 2011. He also holds several Non-Executive roles and also works with small businesses owners to help shape their ideas and provide business mentoring.

Ian was the Managing Director of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) in the UK and through this volunteer role has helped shape the future direction of the organisation and oversaw several significant developments to the EMCC’s infrastructure.
